Website of Berardo "Chacho" Ramirez, percussionist and drummer specializing in jazz, Latin, and world music.
Chacho performs throughout the New York metropolitan area, teaches as a resident artist in public schools,
and maintains a studio of private percussion students.
Chacho's own group, Metro Tang, plays a unique, commercially-viable, very creative combination of catchy melodies, funky bass lines, and Afro-Latin rhythms, blended together to make the groove "sabroso." Click Sound Clips to hear some samples.
Chacho is also playing with some great bands in New York City: Richie Vitale's Orquesta Universal, George Jimenez's Sabor a Conga as well as the Ken Simon Group, Tomoyuki's Samurai Jazz, Bonada Jazz Ensemble, and others.

Chacho actua en el area metropolitana de Nueva York. Ensena como profesor de musica en el sistema de escuelas publicas,
y tiene un estudio privado para sus ensenazas privadas.
